Thank you for the warm welcome, and yes AAK stands for my initials. Sorry for the late reply I haven't been online for awhile.
 
Hi AAK. Welcome to the forum.
I'm glad you have found this place and I hope you find support and help here.

I would suggest some therapy in conjunction with this as a therapist will help you to sort out all the intricate details of what happened.

As Lucy said, be careful who and what you tell to your friends just yet. This can all be quite overwhelming right now, so be kind to yourself too.
 
Hi AKK Welcome to the forum. I have only been on here for about a month and spend a great deal of time lurking still, however I have found it very useful and informative. I also agree with Blurtag around getting some therapy if you can. Try and find someone that you can trust and then be prepared to work really hard. This is the path that I have chosen and although it is really difficult I am beginning (after 18 months) to see a real difference in the way that I view my experiences and how I feel about myself.

Saw the words college student. That's all my eye's could read. Too hard for me to read a big text blast with out paragraphs. I just have "Complex PTSD" to use the proper term of multiple diagnosis from doctors. It makes it real hard to focus even with my big fancy degrees. i just hope I can use them in a professional capacity again someday. Post meltdown deep PTSD is a little more scary for me than the actual traumas...yes really.

Sexual traumas of the past become suppressed for a reason...Deal with it as they pop up. Therapy is helpful when you find a good therapist. Sorry you had such experiences in your life.

Welcome to this forum I am pleased youve been brave enough to post your story, I am so glad also youve found a friend who has suffered similarly to you and you managed to tell her you should feel proud. I third the opinion you should definately find a therapist, I found CBT its excellent to tell someone what you're feeling and to discover what youre feeling is normal and youre not going mad.... Take care of yourself and I look forward to any more posts you put up :) if you feel bad, vent away, we don't ever judge :)
