Consistently Low Energy Level?

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same - and also, overall day-to-day energy levels for others here.

I am a female in early 20s, student and an athlete with clinically ideal weight and body composition. I also eat very healthy, aside from chocolate and cheese in moderation,, (but I gotta have some pleasure too!)

So I am doing things 'right' overall, yet I have consistently low energy level. I think being constantly on the look out and worrying about things, having a lot in mind etc is draining me, but I compensate for that with calorie intake?

I don't know what else I can do be doing..

Please share any tips on increasing energy level! How's everyone doing in terms of energy level?

I am pretty low on energy. I think I might see a doctor to test if I am anemic, because I always had a problem with low blood pressure and anemia, and that is a symptom of the medication I am taking as well. So it might be due to your meds. Also yes, I think having anxiety and hypervigiliance is in general very hard on energy level, because the system is working so much more to process the information and it is a lot of work.

Have you tried taking Ginseng? It might be helpful, but also would be careful because it can be very strong. It's great that you are eating so well.

I have seasonal affective disorder and that zaps and drains my energy level. I have been taking vitamin d and using day lights in my house and that has helped alot. I have natural low energy levels and I say it is because I am depressed. On my good days I can do more.

I hope you find something that will help you out soon. You are doing alot of good things though. Pat yourself on the back.

If you are open to new agey things (which are really scientifically proven) you could try looking up and researching something called Orgonite.

It is a compound consisting of organic (metal powders) and inorganic (resin) materials that when combined act as a generator for pulling in energy that surrounds us in the atmosphere and the universe...called chi or life force.

It was discovered first by a man called Willhelm reich and then patented by a german scientist in the last 10 years...his name escapes me now, Karl von something? But look them up, and don't take my word for it.

You can make the stuff, and it's relatively easy to make...or you can buy it from a number of people who are making and selling this technology.

I'm wearing two pendants at the moment, and my energy levels have significantly increased in the last couple of weeks since they arrived. I also take care of myself through diet, but had terrible trouble with lack of energy for years, so there has been a marked improvement...that you can feel.

Beyond this, I also take superfood supplement powder in smoothies, and wear crystals like Quartz on a daily basis.

Cutting energetic cords with everyone you come in contact with on a daily basis also helps. General auric maintenance and hygiene is recommended. I believe it all starts with the energy field that radiates us all, and taking care of that is just as important as caring for our physical body.

That's exactly what T said to me today!

BlueKitty, it might be a good idea to see a doctor, or health care worker, just to rule out anything physical. Have some blood work done, etc.. Once that side is taken care of, and if nothing shows up amiss, then try some of the other suggestions.

Like, for me over the years, I've had low iron, low vitamin d, and hypothyroid. I know my depression makes my energy worse. I also have a chronic medical condition that doesn't help the issue at hand. I went years being undiagnosed with that last issue. It didn't help my frame of mind, that's for certain.

However, knowing everything above medical wise helped me in deciding on the various treatments to help with energy. I think all the suggestions are good ones.

I agree getting blood works done is a good start. My doc did this and my iron was very low and my Vit D was seriously low which causes low energy.

Depression, anxiety, hypervigilance, being a mother of young children and 3 strong medications that cause tiredness are all adding to my fatigue.

Getting blood works done does sound like a good idea!
Maybe I have low VitD or low iron as well. I also know that my blood pressure is on the lower side - so maybe that contributes to the low energy level too..

They say low blood pressure at younger age is better, so that when I get old and get higher BP, it is still in the healthy normal range,, but this lack of energy is killing me.

As for Phillipa's idea, that sounds pretty interesting. I am not against new-agey things, although it usually isn't something I try as the first thing. I might research it a little deeper.

I have hypothyroid disease, anemia, and clinically low Vitamin D plus seasonal affective disorder and chronic pain.

It can be really rough on some days other days are manageable.

I eat right 75% of the time and try to avoid caffeine at all costs. I know protein before carbs means no food coma.

I also know I'm have an extremely rough go with my exhaustion. Then I read all the PTSD forum documents about stress.

I can't believe how much stress overwhelms the system and causes shut down.

So check those out. I am managing my physical health pretty well lately since I figure out that part.

It's not even new agey...it's hard science. But a lot of people who are into crystals and things like that have embraced it.
