Dear Whitney, thank you very much for your explanation! Yup! I already joined in.:) It's so exciting - I love to choose gifts for others!

Right now, for the first time in quite a long time, my heart is full with joy and I my brain produces wonderful pictures full of warm, sparkling colours and lights! (It's like a Kaleidoscope) I'm so happy and deeply grateful to know this forum and be a part of it!

ISH I found the gift. Not easy staying within the $20 budget, but my budget demanded it. Still, I think it is a decent present. I wouldn't mind getting it. I'm so excited. Can you tell?

I'm sure it will be awesome. LOL, the $20 thing is hard for me to adhere to. I get the most joy from picking out just the right thing than receiving anything at all. This is so much fun!

My first choice of gift this year was not suitable, only because it may get broken in the post. My second one was just the gift I think anyone would like.

I tried to find Christmassy stuff in the stores yesterday and there isn't a whole lot yet. Food, yes, but other things, very, very little, which baffles me. I hope it'll get better within the next two weeks but doubt I'll be able to send by 21 October. :confused:

Why does it have to be Christmassey? From what I gather from old threads, a lot of the gifts last year were not Christmas themed.

On last years Kringle thread there were lots of gift suggestions! I do not believe there were restrictions.

I actually snuck on the site in the middle of the night and cruised my recipients posts for ideas! Doh, I could have done it anytime.

It is so much fun finding that little hint. Or something from your country. Something they might not get themselves :).

I recommend checking the postal regulations as there are some Custom specifics. If the form is not correct they will hold up. Also be sure it lists as a gift! Very important.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas here....
