As a native English speaker I'm confused by a lot of these suggestions (and I've never heard of 'The Beat' or 'Gizmo' or 'Dabbles' in relation to anything like this). ;):D

Personally, I'd go for the 'does-what-it-says-on-the-tin' approach and keep it simple so that people know straight away what the tab is for. It might not be catchy or clever or creative, but at least people will know what the tab is for.

Things like 'vault' and 'archive' suggest to me old threads, things that have been archived, rather than anything current.

I think digger is correct that it needs to be comprehensible (and internationally as previously suggested), though 'Library' would suggest a bibliography, a list of books to be read. And I understand this to be more about useful articles.

You are correct @Echo though it won't be just articles, because it will contain poems, healthy recipes and so forth, which I wouldn't say are articles per sè. I guess it could be called "showroom" or any such thing, because it will be a showcase of all different user content, both direct PTSD and indirect (healthy living, relaxation, creativity, so forth).

If a cool name exists, then that would be great. Everything doesn't have to be universally known... though I do concur that it shouldn't be an obscure saying word within some isolated area of the world either.

When someone posts information of a highly valuable nature, or a relaxation technique, skill or such in a discussion, you could simply ask them to go put it in the ??????

As outlined, the content in that area doesn't have comments or discussion attached, so what a user posts there, stays as they post it. It doesn't get off-topic or anything else... it just is as they want it to be.

The current article section doesn't get used, because it really is far more complicated that the new one is.

Hmmmm... "cubicle" comes to mind as well.

You should put that in the cubicle! Hmmmmmm
You should put that in the library!
You should put that in the digest! (to obtain information, ideas, or principles from)
You should put that in the stressays!
You should put that in the database!
You should put that in the particles!
You should put that in the vault!
You should put that in the repository!
You should put that in the pool-room! (Catchy line from a movie - The Castle - That's going straight to the pool-room!)

Obviously this is just my interpretation of the words, but I'm guessing you're wanting something that is going to attract people to the tab so it gets good usage...as a current member of course, I'm going to know what the tab is whatever you call it, but I'm thinking new members and guests who won't...

Cubicle would be like a changing room here
Library still works for me but I get it's not so creative.
Digest, I would expect to find a roundup/headlines of things that had been posted today or this week.
Stressays??? Nah!:p But I might look out of curiosity because I didn't get what it meant.
Database would mean more like site/member details and I wouldn't think to bother to look at it.
Vault = old stuff and I probably wouldn't think to look.
Repository....just doesn't work for me. Don't know why.
Pool room I actually quite like even though I have no idea where the quote comes from or what it means!:D Again it would be a looking out of curiosity thing though.

Another thought: 'voxbox' - luckily not a trademark, often used when the 'general public' get to have their say, and it does have the sense of container, too. Any good? Might spark someone else to have a creative thought.

Actually Pool Room works in the sense of a pooling of ideas as well. (Maybe that's what you meant though anyway? I had swimming pool in my head but that might have been because of the cubicles...;)
