The Med is nice. Not sure about living there.
On the crisis front we have "A New Hope" Just like in Star Wars.
Merkel, seeing the writing on the wall, has had a change of heart and decided to go against here own party. So the entire salvation of the EU ended up resting on the German Chancellor wanting a nice retirement. The voters are turning against her, She's on her way out.
Why? Well you can't do book tours, give speeches, get invited to all the cool Euro parties, and have fancy shmancy luncheons if you are the biggest asshole in Europe since the little corporal.

I smell some stinky things in this, but oh well. It does high light one great thing about politics.
Politics is all about the people until feathering your own nest and garnishing your retirement becomes an issue. Then it's about that.
The rest of the EU news is just waffle. Not even worth commenting any more.
