I currently work as a CSR at a call center in the health insurance field. I take calls all day from irrate members whose claim has been denied, etc,etc,etc....It can be difficult to say the least, and yes there are a lot of abusive callers but I never let it get that far. I love the job as I am able to truly make a difference at times, and the two to four people per dayI can help who have found themselve caught between an unscrupuous health care provider and a monolithic insurance company, is worth it to me.
