Damn Dentist

My poor darling husband had to go to the dentist again today. :( :cry: It was so sad coming home seeing him lying on the couch instead of cooking me dinner..... must have words with this dentist!!! :roflmao::p

Oh, the dentist can be so horrible. I have a temporary crown that I've had for years. I don't want to go back and I really can't afford to. KP - I ask for the child sized x-ray thingies because I have a small mouth, too. I didn't even know about them until a wonderful assistant I never saw again decided to use them all on her own.

Not me, just that one dental assistant. I hope it helps you in the future - it's made a BIG difference for me! I used to get cuts all over my mouth from those stupid things.

It was supposed to be all over with, two crowns fitted and done, but the top one wasn't 100% and the dentist didn't want to risk it. So all numbed up... I got the bottom one fitted, which takes all of a few minutes, then had to go through all the moulding again, yukiness stuff they use, blah!

Oh how I hate going to the dentist.

The last time I went to one, he didn't wait for the anaesthetic to kick in before crunching my tooth til it crumbled and fell out of my mouth. I could feel it being crunched and all the pressure he put on it...it was horrible.

I have an extraordinary immunity to the anaesthetic for some reason. It takes nearly 4-5 full shots to make me numb.
