I use the ones called Thermacare and they stick straight onto your skin. I use them on my neck as using one on the outside of clothes doesn't work. I then cover it with a scarf. They are good and the heat does last 12 hours.

Toria I was thinking of the Tens machine myself, once he has seen the physio. It would be handy for my knee too, when that gets too much.

I take the co-codomol for my neck pain. It is very bad at the moment.

I never thought of a TENS machine. I am being assessed by insurance rehab people tomorrow re further treatment. All part of my compensation claim. It may be if they think it is good for me that I can claim the cost from the 3rd party.

I hope your H (and you;)) get some relief soon.

Good idea KP, get them to pay and have the benefit from it for a long time. Better then taking pain meds constantly.
