Do They Know?

Hi. Just wanted to ask, do you think that the general public know when we are down or weak or tired and then, as a result, exploit this and just plain make things even tougher for us? You know, like when animals sense weakness in others.

Some, yes. There are energy stealers out there and I feel like when we are weaker we don't know how to hold onto our energy properly. Because they are always looking to 'top up' their energy, they have some sort of an sonar for us. Just my ideas on the matter.

ROFLMAO... Nope! (Although Murphey's Law Firm might be taking note to send extra troubles our way ;) )

I think people are just as stupid, problematic, vexing, frustrating, troublesome as always... It's when we're down that we notice them. So instead of being able to roll with the punches, we take it square on the chin.

Yes. It's hard to just shrug it off when you are on empty. Some do 'take' a lot though, I once had a brilliant counsellor and friend who said some of us in this World were trouble magnets. He used other words.

Nope.

People are, by nature, too egocentric to even notice anything about others 'cept maybe those closest to them.

We may just feel exploited when we're barely managing to hold ourselves more or less upright without screaming, because they act the same as always and our ability to tolerate it is so severely diminished.

Those "energy stealers" mentioned above...sure, they do exist, I just don't think they take more than usual when we're down, we just have a lot less to give, so any loss is much more keenly felt.

Just my .02, of course. :)

I think that there are parasitic individuals who can spot low self esteem and poor boundaries, and know how to exploit them.

Psychopathic spongers

and bullying narcissists looking for someone to hurt so that they can try to feel powerful in themselves.

There aren't many of them, and most of them probably do not consciously understand what they are doing.

I'd say yes. In my experience some people do notice in an animal sense when we are having troubles. They may not know exactly what's going on, but they know it's something. However, the bit that's been mentioned about self-centered jackasses who blunder through life without a care as to how they affect others.. Yeah, that's very true as well. And then some people so wrapped up in their own troubles that they barely even notice those around them.. Like me, often. :(

So the answer to your question is simply Yes, many different situations occur frequently.
