But eventually I left and stayed gone. It my experience, it never gets better.

I wanted to go back — not in my heart, but due to obligations.

Thank GOODNESS for my friends who sat me down and told me clearly how it was, and how it will be if I did return.

Thank goodness for them, coz I wasn't thinking straight.
Thank goodness for them, for not keeping their opinions to themselves.
Thank goodness for them, for showing me true love.

They saved my life.

Yes, I finally did leave, got a divorced and he became a drunk and died before turning 50. So, sometimes things do turn out ok!!!! Just saying.
