Hi
Just wondering if peoaple have had any experiances with these. I'm just about to start risperidone and I'm on 120mg per day. Hoping adding risperidone will help pretty desperate ... any advice?
Thanks

I assume your taking the Risperidone for pstd, which is an antiphyscotic with a long list of receptor sites it acts on and something I wouldn't take unless I had some terrible acute psychotic reactions all the time. Its a drug that plays with a lot of brain chemistry. I would consider both those drugs zombie drugs... because they dull you up pretty good. Speaking from long ago.
Dr.'s seem to prescribe these to a lot for a whole slew of reasons. I would not take either but I would not start the Risperidone. If you could give some more details on what these are for that would be helpful or pm if you want. But I tell yah' what Risperidone dried me up(nasally, mouth,GI) and slowed me down(mentally, personality) while increasing the frequency and scale of my tremors(associated with epilepsy.) while I took it.

Receptor sites affected from the Risperidone 5-HT1A, 5-HT1D, 5-HTA2, 5-HT2C, 5-HT7, D1, D2, A1,A2,
Pot CB1, CB2, Alot of sites indeed...

Just out of curiosity, which symptoms are you hoping to address with the risperidone?
