Earplugs And Sleeping / Not Sleeping...

So the last 3 nights I've actually been trying to sleep without earplugs. It's been going ok 2 if the nights, with not much sleep at all on Sat night. I'm going to continue this experiment as my ears are having issues with the earplugs now. :( If the issues continue I'll probably have to go to the Dr and lord knows I don't want to do that! Also on the 22nd of this month it will be 4 months since my ears started ringing. .. any tricks for that?

I sleep with a small lamp on and the tv on for white noise and sleep pretty soundly though.

I keep a small lamp on in the living room, so the light comes through into the room where I now sleep.

It has one of them low energy bulbs in it, so is really cheap to run. I've since bought a proper sleep mask now, but when I wake in a panic, I can whip the mask off and I can see around the room.

I've come to accept that I have sensory issues, a lot of sensory issues... I can't wear the ear plugs any more as they make my ears itch. Can't sleep with any light, no sound, except the ceiling fan as I've finally adjusted to that. Can't wear a sleep mask as I can't stand anything on my eyes or face, the list goes on and on. I'm jealous of those of you who can do those things. I wish I didn't have my sensory things to deal with.
