Good idea! I sure don't envy your 6 months of antibiotics, but I do hope they do their job for you :hug:I am going to get some because I am into my second month of antibiotics now and I'm slowly dying I'm sure.... lol.... No seriously I am laying into every probiotic and prebiotic I can find.
Something that might pay to look up (if you haven't already) is the timings for taking your probiotics while on antibiotics. Like presumably taking them as far away from the antibiotics as possible so as many of the good guys survive.
Wow cool.I spent some of the afternoon looking up how to make potato starch and it looks a bit too much for me and I don't have a dehydrator machine. Actually until I saw that Youtube - I didn't know such things existed. But anyway I will purchase some and add that to my combat strategy to try and keep my gut going...
I've always been intrigued by dehydrator machines, for like making homemade dehydrated fruit slices as snacks, but yeah time, effort and money is always going to factor in.
Good luck with the potato starch. You might find that ultimately you benefit most from 1tsp or even more. I don't think there's a set "dosage", as our bodies and gut microbiomes are all so different, but I'm sure you'll sort it!
And glad I could help
