Thank you for the EMDR International Association reference. I contacted the only 2 professionals listed for my area. One does not take insurance (of any kind, which I kinda respect in a way, but as I pay handsomely for mine, it abruptly precludes), the other has yet to reply. Just wanted to thank, & mention that I did pursue the avenues you'd suggested. I also purchased on one of those books.
Look, I'm alright. It's all old hat on & from my weary head I'm afraid. For some odd reason, I occasionally think of a drunken Charles Bukowski at a rather uproarious poetry reading that was recorded in the 80's (?). He says something as simple & trite as, "One learns survival by surviving", in between the poems he reads to this raucous crowd. So, when I think of survival, I sometimes think of Charles Bukowski (with his plethoric if not repugnant faults) at times. There's a survivor for ya!
