Fainting during panic attack.

I was in PHP and nearly fainted one day, turns out I was having a panic attack. I have fainted in the past and felt faint quiet a bit had no idea that my panic attacks lead to those symptoms. Anyone else relate to this?

Not me, but it happens to my daughter, especially when she's sick or dehydrated. She will become anxious about something and then her heart starts racing, her blood pressure shoots up, and she's gone.

Absolutely. I would never have guessed either. So little information on it. Even psychiatrists didn't believe it.

Yep. Vagus vagul (sp) response. I passed out one time due to disregulation and had no recordable vitals for a while. Cray weird. So glad I'm pretty much past that.

Only just recently. I've had ptsd for 6 months and so when I'm triggered I have the worst panic attacks. This week has been the worst. I saw my doctor yesterday and when I left I had to pull over on the high way as I thought I was going to throw up, but fainted on the side of the road. So scary. Tomorrow marks 6 months since me friend hung herself. I found her attempt 6 weeks prior to when she killed herself. I'm really scared and so anxious about tomorrow and I know I'm going to faint. I'm just scared I'm going to end up hurting myself with ho help around.

I am so sorry @Renae . I had someone close choose that same fate. It is an incredibly difficult and different type of grief. perhaps the most excruciating. :hug: if you accept.

Yes but it's because my iron levels got too low, I almost fainted a couple of times when I was outside in may. Are your iron levels ok?

@C j I am anemic, but it's definitely panic attacks that cause my fainting. My iron is under control with supplements. :)

I have hypoglycemia, and I also have panic attacks. They always pop up at the most random times too. I've had at least 3 panic attacks which must have caused my blood sugar to drop even lower than normal and I have passed out. But most of the time the panic attacks have made me throw up, which I'm not sure which is worse. It's still embarrassing. I wish I was able to hide them a little bit.
