First Snow Fall!!!

Omgoodness Tryin!!! That was hilarious!!!!! I lived, two years ago, on a main road very close to downtown in my city. Three seperate slow plows would pass my house from 3am to approx 7am each morning (imagine the sound sscccccccrape as they flew past). Each morning it would take ALL of the neighbours TOGETHER to get out of our driveways. We would start at the end of the street with thermal mugs of coffee and chip away at that heavy, sanded snow and ice and work our way down the street. It took us hours some mornings.

lol. I hate winter.

There are four seasons where I live as well:
Winter, Almost Winter, Still Winter, and Road Construction :wink:

and on that note!
More snow tonight and tomorrow, as well as some rain and ice.
Just snow is fine but ice is awful,
I can't walk on ice unless I walk like a penguin
...unless I want to slip of course

Today we are having our first snow.....and luck goes it is a snowstorm :rolleyes:

We had a bit of snow 2 weeks ago...but not worth the mention, since it melted right as soon as it hit the ground..........today, I doubt it lol...we are expecting 30 to 35 centimetres which equals to about 13 inches and lots of wind !

It is beautiful already, I love snow !! :thumbs-up

And the best is, they are letting us out of the office at 3:00 instead of 5:00.....let it snow :clap:

Tryin too funny :rofl:.......and Akita ? so true LOL Winter, Almost Winter, Still Winter, and Road Construction !! Sounds, feels and looks like where I live ! And I also hate, hate ice....I just have to look at ice and I fall ! lol

OK, the honeymoon with winter is officially over. We've got about a foot already, and it shows no signs of slowing down. Went out for a coffee this morning, and cars were slipping and sliding all over the place. I was only going about 30 km/hr around a curve, and the car was drifting along for what felt like eons... you know that feeling when you know if you even touch the wheel, you'll skid right off the road?? I didn't know I could hold my breath that long!! ;D

Well, we finally got slammed today......10 inches of white crap..... Oh how lovely the morning drive to work was.....It was the old, *White Knuckle Drive* How I love those days......NOT!!!!!!!

Give me sunshine, green lawns, blooming flowers, and 70 degrees.......
