I don't have a photo, but once H sent me flowers on Valentines Day. We'd been married about 3 years and I told him off for spending £2.50 per bloom and having them delivered to where I worked.
On my 1st birthday after we had married. He came into the bedroom with breakfast on a tray, a crystal vase and a rose from our garden. So romantic. Unfortunately, my first words were 'urgh, there is an earwig on the rose':facepalm:. Talk about a passion killer :rolleyes:.
