For Those Without Family, How Do You Spend Christmas?

I wish I could invite you over for some of the slightly too hard candy cane fudge I made. You'll have to imagine it. Here it goes, transferring from real to virtual and back again...

(Remember the part in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory where Willy Wonka "explains" how television works? We can imagine it something like that.)

Funny how it works that way sometimes! Merry Christmas to you! And to everyone else who needs it. While we're thinking magic, we can just wave our magic wands and multiply the fudge, like I am told by the authoritative source of the Harry Potter books is possible.

I just found this and you are probably feeling better now; I sure hope so.
I could subscribe to almost every word and feeling you shared. For me it hasn't been easier over time but the opposite. So, looking for ways to go thru these days and surviving them.

I haven't figured out what I will do this year. I've spent christmas with friends and I've spent it volunteering. Last year, I just stayed home and tried to be nice to myself. It sort of worked.

I've spent so many holidays alone that it's just another day to me.... Cheaper too!!!!
