Spock, I might be missing a reference here in your pic.

I may just be paranoid... But to me there's a scope glint about a meter above the waterline directly above the reeds, just left of center, with a rounded hump covered by foliage/hide directly behind it.

But I see what I expect to all the dayum time. Prolly just a missing pixel & a fallen log, but I burst out laughing all the same. Either at that level of 'undivided attention' / reach out and touch someone (what first grabbed me)... or myself for seeing things that aren't there in a totally innocuous pic ;) makes never no mind.

I wasn't worried for a minute.

It's not a scope glint. Too big. And it's casting too much reflection on the water during a foggy morning. Plus, a true sniper would have had a better cover deeper into the bush and an attached killflash device on the glass.

Startin to think Spock pulled a fast one on us. We are all squinting looking for something that isn't there- hence being unable to handle said attention....

:sneaky: LOL!!! Wow, y'all went off the deep end on that one.:D:((n):) I'll have to see what the source was again but to me it simply meant that we are all so intense now that, despite their rhetoric otherwise, no one really wants to sit down with any of us and have our "undivided attention" for an extended period, not do we wish to waste our anxiety on such things. We are simply too intense most of the time for most of the people.

I've had just a couple friends and family sincerely try to engage me (over the past several years) on how I "feel" and how I'm "doing" and it is truly pathetic. I can tell they're intimidated by my energy, despite me trying to welcome their inquiry. I eventually just feel sorry for them and let them off the hook and change the topic. There is truly something about the energy we give off that people just want to get away from...and I'm trying to be engaging and welcoming to their effort (at first). Then I see they don't get it and can't get it and it is just a waste of time. Still, credit awarded. None of them want my undivided attention anymore. The only ones that seek me out are other combat vets now. They see my energy as completely comfortable, conforming and familiar. (y)

If you've ever worked for a boss who reacts before getting the facts
and thinking things through, you will love this!*
Arcelor-Mittal Steel, feeling it was time for a shakeup, hired a new CEO.
The new boss was determined to rid the company of all slackers.
On a tour of the facilities, the CEO noticed a guy leaning against a
wall. The room was full of workers and he wanted to let them know that he
meant business. He asked the guy, "How much money do you make a week?"
A little surprised, the young man looked at him and said, "I make $400 a
week. Why?"
The CEO said, "Wait right here." He walked back to his office, came back
in two minutes, and handed the guy $1,600 in cash and said, "Here's four
weeks' pay. Now GET OUT and don't come back."
Feeling pretty good about himself, the CEO looked around the room and
asked, "Does anyone want to tell me what that goof-ball did here?"
From across the room a voice said, "Pizza delivery guy from Domino's."
