ROFL. Been there, done that. When I'm non-compos-mentis on the move I've learned to take photos at intervals sp O can find my way back. Ha. That or the cross streets of where I started/ want to be returned to show the cabbie.

Doesn't always work. Last time I got pissed I ended up in Arizona. Snowflake Arizona. The city of irony.

I've learned to hide my passport, though, so at least I why hung up on the border. Usually.

I don't do this very often. Well in fact almost never, it could be life threatening. Yesterday my stress cup was almost topped off, so as I was driving my wife to Wal Mart I told her we were entering a silence zone - she had to shut up. She was doing that nervous talking about nothing thing women do sometimes, well often, and it was just pissing me off. I had to keep telling her to shut up as she kept wanting to talk, just to talk. I did the same thing on the way home. I could tell it hurt her feelings some, but she complied for the most part. I was quick to SHHHhhh.. her if she didn't.

I'm proud to report I have no major injuries and I'm still alive.
