I always have to almost make myself come read these- not out of iewww- it's because it's always so KIND I genuinely don't know how to process them. Typical here but you never get used to it, do you? It did just occur to me the other day when the 'Time to Leave' article came backup there ( thanks, btw, whomever was responsible because freakishly gory knife-chick was beginning to give me the willies ) that if one can have someone say something to nice to you without you looking over your shoulder to see who the hell they might be speaking to, it's a sign you're some better. I'm still looking and then absolutely convinced it still would not be me-mistaken identity or a practicle jokester at work possibly.
These fresh replies rather blew me away for a few important reasons. That's not as confusing as you'd think but it's not something I'll get into without boring anyone polite enough to stop in and read this so will shush.
I have to look and see which levels were fused- hee- as with all things technical I got it wrong the other day when telling someone something about it. Number 5 was taken out, replaced w articficial something, then fusion from the one above to the one below, a plate and screws. Quite honestly, you'd think I'd have found more about it but couldn't-the whole thing has been tied up with 'stuff'- medical, hospitals, surgeons- and feel silly saying this but just could not bring myself to focus beyond getting it over wth. I trust my husband so hugely and unfairly left an awful lot to him. I think they thought I was a really, really good patient. :) Hee- I was quiet, compliant as hell and very very very cooperative, especially after the initial sedation. Anyway- it's only luck which enabled me to avoid a good clear picture of this surgery- lucky my husband understands so MUCH and just sort of takes it from there. The 13th is when we go to find out if the fusion has begun, meanwhile am trying to wean off the dam pain meds before getting into trouble with those stupid things again. Anyway- if eyes haven't glazed over thus far- much, much thanks.
