I've suffered from complex ptsd since early childhood.Used sex drugs alcohol for a life time which came close to death many times, but on the flip side I probably wouldn't have been able to cope, they didn't have a clue what the problem was back then.We are so blessed today,the progress they have made and finally a treatment that actually works.I've been in treatment since age 16 and have just recently found a treatment that works at age 62 by the grace of God. It takes time and support from people who understand and are non judgmental. Most people don't have a clue. They tell you get over it that was 30 years ago.Thats what that little boy deep inside has herd his hole life.Thats why we need others like ourselves to say yes I understand, I agree that little boy was deeply wounded and it wasn't his fault. Sorry for rambling. Hope I can find some friends who relate. Thanks. T top
