Going For A Biopsy Today: Feeling Very Anxious

Very pleased to hear that the biopsy was clear Ms Spock. Wonderful news. Sorry you are having backlash. Backlash seems to come along for the ride with almost everything positive I find and you are probably feeling a lot of what you didn't before. Good luck with the next part.

Thanks so much for your good wishes, hugs, pep talks, kind wishes, practical advice, for sharing your stories and company over this time. It was really soothing and heartening for me when I was pretty scared.

It is a very different story from when I was a kid, apparently which I haven't got over much. But hey better to know so I can work on it.

A couple of my in real life friends were a little annoyed at me for not telling them but also very kind when I rang after the results came back.

I cried last night and got quite upset. It really hit home. I wasn't prepared for that as I had managed pretty well for the previous week. Anyway I feel wrung out today and relief.

I had a lovely day in Sydney with a friend. It was really relaxing and just nice to chat and share stories. We had a nice lunch. I saw her knitting - A -mazing. You would not believe the dog coat she is knitting - the patterns are so intricate. The colour and design of the jumpers was stunning.

I also bought a Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Workbook. Looked at the other books that were available as well. So they work continues.

My breast is not feeling as sore now. That was one painful procedure.

:) Happy about your news. You did so well coping with all of that :tup: and the emotions were that human part of you. Normal reactions, although overwhelming by the sounds of it. You survived them, the results and the procedure. Remember that. Proud that you're continuing on your healing journey with the book - what is the name of the workbook, if you don't mind sharing?

@rainydaze The book is The Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills Workbook for Anxiety. Breaking Free from Worry, Panic, PTSD & Other Anxiety Symptoms, written by Alexander L. Chapman, Kim L. Gratz and Matthew T Tull. I have started reading it. Tis great.
