And Monday it is!!!!!
I'm back!!!!!:)
Thank you all so much for the wonderful thoughts and pictures, I shall treasure them. x
Oh, please, please let me do it with you
Oh, OK you can come!!
Thank you so much KP for keeping my thread alive and for phoning me and especially for keeping my spirits up! I'm taking the crystals you sent me with me into the room and my IPod as you suggested.
My computer is still null and void but my wonderful Sister has bought me a new Samsung Chrome Book!! It's like magic! It boots up so quickly and uses Google Cloud to store data. Having never used an IPod Touch and only briefly using an IPad it is taking time to get my head round it. I couldn't get the mouse pad to work as it didn't have a left/right click button until my eldest son told me to click the actual mouse pad down in the corner and not just to tap it!
So there is no storage except in Cloud, it has it's own Google OS but it is so light and easy to use and perfect for keeping in touch. I'm so grateful to my big sis for buying this for me.
As for the procedures....
Wednesday this week I will be fasting all morning and then having an abdominal ultrasound. I can eat a light, fibre-free diet after that.
Thursday I will be fasting all day but can have clear fluids like water, herbal tea, clear soup with no bits etc. :meh: Then I have to take the Motival powder, mixed with 1 litre of water at 5pm. half an hour to one hour later the :poop:'s will begin! Then at 8pm I have to drink the other litre of Motival and more water and then more :poop:'s! Oh such fun!! Not!
The leaflet that comes with the Motival says the :poop:'s will stop around 11pm. How do they know that? Is there a secret camera recording everyone who takes the stuff? :roflmao:
I'm going to be so hungry and my stomach hurts more when it is empty.
On Friday I get admitted at 8am but don't know when they will do the procedure nor do I know which end that camera is going to get stuck up/down first!
I just want it to be over and when the sedation has worn off I'm ordering a takeaway!!
I'm worried that because I have a blocked nose most of the time that I will not be able to breath when they stick the camera down my throat. I'm sure if I explain it they will give me some oxygen and reassure me.
Thanks again everyone. You are all wonderful. x:hug:
