Good Memories / Happy Times... They Need to be Remembered, Too

All the vacations we went on. All of the fun times going different places. Eating at resturants, I love that. Visiting relatives and going to the river. Going to Brice Canyon in Utah. We would collect rocks and bring them home. going to the ocean and collecting shells and driftwood and rocks. We were great rock collectors. I miss all of tht kind of stuff, because my husband is so ill we cannot go anywhere anymore. Luckily I have so many great memories. Thanks for bringing this thread back up.

Seeing my granddaughter smile real smiles today (not 'just gas')...

The surprise of seeing a little boy TODAY that I was a surrogate grandma to, when he was 6 months old until he was a year old, in 2006! A very special 'love' of my life.:hug: And, I got a hug!

There are many of them. Christmas, Easter, and our birthdays because my mom always tried to make them special since we didn't always have money. Then when I grew up and became her Easter bunny/Santa Claus.

Any time my children have been happy throughout the years.

The time before my "boyfriend" Todd died when we were seven in a tragic accident.

The first time someone loved me and, just about every time since.

When we would go camping with my dad. It was the only time when we visited him he wasn't working.

When I lived in South Carolina.

My 2nd wedding.

Most memories with my husband.

Times with my critters.

I try to think of those moments when I am locked in darkness. Seems to be too many of those days, have to remember the good. Thanks for starting this thread!
