I just found out Friday that I have scholarship to classes at my Buddhist Temple. I am so excited! I have been wanting to do this for 2 years, and never had the nerve to ask for a scholarship. It was easy! It is a 10 month course and will help me deepen my practice and become more involved with the Sangha. (A group of Buddhists) I'm so happy!

@bumbleweed, I converted to Buddhism in the 80's. I was a Nicheran Buddhist, but left when the sect I was in was excommunicated. I started meditating again 4 years ago and joined a Sangha 2 years ago. This is a Dharma (learn about Buddhist scriptures, if you will) class, and you are expected to keep up with your daily practice (meditation) as well as be involved in the community. I'm so looking forward to it!
