So I was joking about buying a dress in another thread and it made me think about a Halloween costume. I thought this would be fun to describe cute costumes you have seen OR PTSD related costumes you would LIKE to see, LOL.

Me first. I had joked about this months ago.

I used to work on an ambulance in a large state institution for the mentally retarded (Developmentally Disabled is the correct term now) We all dressed up for Halloween. The residents were called our "kids" because that's what they were developmentally. My partner, OK better call him my co-worker, LOL, and I dressed as Klinger one time. We wore cut-off shorts but we found nurses dresses, stockings and nurse caps and went as Klinger 1 and Klinger 2 from MASH. We got a call so we lifter our skirts and ran to the ambulance.

So, this was many years ago when MASH was popular. So some 5 years ago, at the hospital, people were posting old pics of themselves and I took this pic of the 2 of us dressed as Klinger. A young guy came up and said "You are really brave posting your cross dressing picture!"

I marched straight back to the break room and took down the Pic!!!!!!

Well it wasn't Halloween, but one time a female co-worker/friend was moving to another state, so she had a going away party at her house. One of my male co-workers and I kept teasing her about it being a toga party. It was December, cold out, and there was snow on the ground. This was the early 1990's when Country Dancing was the rage and almost everyone at the party was into country dancing at the time. So, Jeff and I showed up wearing togas with long John's because it was cold. And to go with the country theme we had our cowboy boots, hats, belts/buckles on. It was quit humorous and we were the hit of the party. She wouldn't let us come in until we backed up and stood in the snow so she could take a picture of us. LOL

:rofl:I bet you 2 are not going to be brave enough to put up the pics on here now are you.

Oh hang on I can hear it now, "Sorry, they got lost years ago. No one has copies of them"

I think pics are in order!!

I got me a clear trashbag, gonna put it over my head and make holes for my head and arms...then stuff as many colored balloons as I can in there...

Presto! I'm a bag of jelly beans!!

Amethist if I had the picture I would gladly post it. I will email my friend and see if she still has it and can scan it and send it to me. This was about 1993, so I don't know if she still has it or not, but I will try.

Awesome pic CB. I like the cost effective "Bag Of Jelly Beans" costume specifications submitted by AdamAnt, also. LOL. This could be a really fun thread...

Hehe! I knew it. As soon as you said "What's missing?". Before I even saw the picture I knew it would be your broomstick!!!
