Happiness Challenge Round 2 May 7th

Day 8 May 1st
1. Three new things you are grateful for today :Sunny day, my friend is still alive, got a lift home from the day center
2. Journal about a positive experience in the last 24 hours : my friend said that while she is on sick leave, she will come and get me from the day center and bring me home ... she lives on the opposite side of the city ! What generosity
3. Exercise : small walk
4. Meditation : replaced by art therapy and a special project that made me realize how much my daughter is precious to me.
5. A random act of kindness : gave a hand made scarf to my daughter.
 
1. Three new things you are grateful for today : being warmly welcomed to my former group of art therapy for cancer patients, my pain was tolerable today, chat with a friend.
2. Journal about a positive experience in the last 24 hours : warm hugs and wonderful words from the former art therapy group, I miss them, very special energy
3. Exercise : walked alot today
4. Meditation : no
5. A random act of kindness : helped one of the women in the art group accomplish her project as she cannot use her hands as before the cancer.

Day 10 May 3rd
1. Three new things you are grateful for today : That the car stopped before it rolled over me; I'm alive; my friends and family
2. Journal about a positive experience in the last 24 hours : The support from everyone after that almost accident.
3. Exercise :walk
4. Meditation :started but ended up falling sleeping
5. A random act of kindness :told a friend to come over Saturday evening to talk about her life stressors. I respected myself for not inviting her the same evening as I was still stressed out with what happened in the morning.
 
Zaniara, Remember this is not a competition against others.
:D (I think you said exactly what I needed to hear.. Thank you! I tend to do that.. make everything about "being good enough" or something like that..)

I got some bad news Thursday, so I've been down and fighting the depression(getting better); so I will join in again when we start.. (Still working on the mediation thing.. it's hard! )

A positive thing that happened is that I refused to go down with the depression and reached out for help and support! And got so much support, and it helped a lot. :) (Very grateful for all that support. Though ashamed of being so honest about my problems..)
