Here's my list for today(I put it here in the open thread until we "start" "for real"):
May 1th
1. Three new things you are grateful for today : My home, my health(physically health that is.. :D ), being accepted in to the private conversation
2. Journal about a positive experience in the last 24 hours : I have been able to draw/paint for hours without hearing the inner critic much at all(being "in the flow" sort of).
3. Exercise : Took a pretty long walk in the woods; for an hour or so, did some yoga(just a little).
4. Meditation : 30 minutes this morning, but it wasn't easy at all(it's like freaking circus inside my head!!), in the beginning "something" screamed, kicked and was fighting like a mad person inside me, and I had to fight to be able to sit down and sit still..
5. A random act of kindness : Smiled a four different person on my walk and said hi to two of them(my voice failed me the other two times I tried it) and painted a picture for my friend(does that count? doing stuff for friends? those things I do anyhow..)
I have a question: are you supposed to write new stuff you are grateful for each day? And what exactly is a random act of kindness? Also I might not write every day until we start "for real"(I will try to get a hang of this first without stress.. :) )
