Happiness Is A New Kitten!! Any Suggestions As To What To Name This Tiny Terror??

I thought it was kind of funny that I adopted a male kitten and got my female (Oscar) but now I am trying to get the Animal Shelter to pay for his spay surgery and they insist that she already got her spay and shots and I spent an hour trying to clear things up. There were two white kittens when I adopted. I wanted the female but the other woman was there first and I got the male. We both left at the same time. A few weeks later when the woman took her kitten in to to get spayed, they told her it was a male and the shelter called me and told me I had a girl. They sent an animal control person out to verify. Now, their record show that my cat is owned by a different person and her name is Buffy They insisted that I bring the cat to the shelter in before it closed. I was in a hurry and got into a near fatal accident and my cat and I could have gotten killed. This has been a comedy of errors.

You're handling it well Gloria. Last spring I got a call from my husband who was working on outside air conditioning units. He called and said, "Guess what I found under the old A/C?" He had found 4 feral kittens. To his credit he got three adopted, but no one wanted the tinest and most sickly one. He asked me what to do, I said bring her home. I had named her "Crystal" before she even came home and I'd seen her... on arrival she was all black but had a white tuft on her neck. I thought we would foster her and three homes fell through because no one wanted to pay for her FIV test or spay. She has been my little joy and I'm glad you're enjoying yours too.

You know I was on my way to the animal shelter but I called them today them how Oscar has now cost me about $20,000 but I love her to death and they are very happy that she got such a great home. Bless you Albotross for taking in a feral kitten. I have rescued abused horsew, puppy mill dogs and feral cats. I am too old to do it again. I have my hands full. But the thing I find the saddest that there are people who are unconditionally love for abused animals and so many people dealing with PTSD and other issues that are shown no sympathy. I know for a fact that is easier for me to to take in abused animals and change their lives than deal with people with emtionally ill. People are more difficult. Honestly, people withs issue are not as loyal and can turn on you. Animals are more pure. Once they trust you, they are loyal. The people at the shelter find it heartwarming tha even though Oscar has cost me so much money, they would have to take me to court and throw me in jail to take her from me. I feel that God placed her in my life. Now I'm buying a "beater" a really ugly car to drive but I don't care. I have realized that my lief and my character are worth more than my ego.

I am glad that Crystal is the joy of you of your life. I truly believe my animals are gifts from God and miracle.
