Welcome to the forum Girl3,
I hope you find lots of help and assistance and that with time, support and persererance that your spikey thorn like seeds of attachment germinate through and find nutrition from within the mud, budding and blossoming into beautiful flowers in the garden like matrix of your soul. Transformation is often seen as the central key to one's conditions, whilst awareness, acknowledgement, acceptance and are often the first steps in this journey of germination as one ascends the the clusters of attachments that have bound us to our pasts. Gradually transformation allows us to become attuned to the essential self or core of our being and to create a newer more dynamic and deeper sense of self.
CPTSD and DID/ severe dissociation can be hard work to deal with, but having an accurate (re-)diagnosis really can make that first step more stable, solid and secure. Personally I found that getting confirmation and diagnostic back up with my symptoms clusters really did help because it finally I found that I had something to aim at and informed me what perspectives where helpful in learning to manage my symptoms. My waving and shouting shoots that had sprouted through the mud in previous decades, which had been reaching out towards the light for so long were suddenly given a framework and matrix with which to be supported in moving towards the light, gradually learning to bud and blossom. Accurate diagnosis and strong solid support networks (friends, family, therapists, forums, etc.), help to give us a strong matrix or climbing frame. The more stable your matrix, the greater your ability to keep climbing and growing, even after a storm. For this is a journey for many, that can often be two steps forward and one step back. Try and remember that this will eventually strengthen one's stem and the core of one's being. For as Loa Tzu said.........."A tree that is unbending is easily broken". Your resilience represents part of the matrix of your inner brilliance.
Best wishes from Artfulone.
