Too many to lists but, bones broken, deg. discs and scars... the reminders... be well folks ... it hurts but if you can, 'you got to move it' to keep from being a blob of mush, mentally and physically... it hurts but I walk 3 to five miles a day. I feel better emotionally... it's worth it... healthy head thoughts while walking off issues...

My tail bone is broken in more than one place. I think 3, because of the way that it is curved. I don't remember if it was my sexual or physical abuse. My hips are messed up, too.

I almost voted no, as I still have some denial. Then I remembered lack of medical care for a broken ankle (which later re-fractured from the lack of care). Then there was all the smoking they smoked cartons per day, I have Asthma and had chronic pneumonia. My back and arms have problems from forced heavy labor, "I am a guy right", yet I also have doctor imposed lifting restrictions they ignored, while calling me a baby for complaining about my dislocated elbow pain! My head injury was mentioned in other posts.

I believe so, if in directly. Following years of emotional then physical abuse, I was diagnosed with cPTSD, my immune system failed causing me to contract a virus when abroad. This in turn attacked my heart valve & I from there I have developed severe heart failure.

At the moment I am waiting for test results to tell me the whole story, probably surgery for the heart valve, nothing can be done about the heart failure, just something I have to learn to live with.

Dent in my skull. Several chipped vertebrae and lower back problems from being beaten with bottles, planks of wood and steel coat hangars. Lung problems from tuberculous and pneumonia as a child. One kidney left, the other was removed due to continual kidney infection as a child. All brought about through neglect.

Three cesareans and hysterectomy by the age of 28, the result of continued sexually abuse since a toddler. All the other ailments came after. The up side is that I survived it all, gave birth to three wonderful sons and I'm still here. So take that you b****y bastards, I'm here and your both DEAD!

Yes I do. I suffered three traumatic brain injuries, broken bones that went untreated has left me with arthritis and from the sexual abuse I am left unable to have children.

Yes, my left eye.

The last time my sons' dad broke my nose there was pressure to my left eye that rendered that purple unable to freely dilate, so it is basically 'fixed' & dilated.

Just recently my eye dr. confirmed it was that physical trauma and not the diagnosis I'd gotten in the past.

I sympathize with you from the bottom of my heart. Please take care and be kind to yourself.

I have scars that are too big to be repaired by plastic surgery. I can actually forget about them (most of the time), but I HATE it when someone asks me about them. I don't want to be reminded and it's just a rude inquiry anyway.
