Hello...

I've been with my spouse for 10 years, married for almost 4. We have 3 children and are from Raleigh, NC. My husband was a grunt. He did 4 years and got out in December 11. Did 3 deployments, last one was extremely rough. Don't know how much detail I want to get into yet, but I guess I'm just hoping to find other spouses or vets in similar situations. Somedays are better than others, sometimes it's like walking on eggshells. I dunno...I'm in it for the long haul, but it's hard. I could probably write my life story in this thread, but I won't. :shy: Anywho...hi!

Hi Gemstone and welcome to the forum.

If you haven't found it yet, check out the supporters section, there are some wise folk there.

Hi Gemstone,
I've just been dating my veteran for about 7 months so don't feel qualified to comment to wives of military vets...but I feel like I've been through bootcamp and back!

There is a "brother" website http:// that your husband might find useful. Non-military people can view it, but can't participate in it. It has really help me understand my boyfriend a lot!

Sincerely,
Dallas.
