Hello,
I have just started to learn more about PTSD after several discussions with others led me to start seeing a therapist. CSA seems to be where it all started to fall apart for me and now decades later, I'm still struggling.

Glad to "meet" another new member. CAS is Childhood Sexual Abuse. The idea of PTSD diagnosis is new to me, but I have been living with it for decades without realizing it. Yes, it is a journey, and sometimes a bit of a rough road, so I am grateful there is support.

Ah right! Sorry for my knowing I'm new to all these different terms and acronyms too.

Definitely rocky roads... I only realised I had PTSD this year too. I guess it's good to understand and learn why our body / mind reacts the way it does. I think learning about PTSD has helped manage and understand it better ... Guess it makes us more aware.

Never easy tho.. well just so you know there's lots of people who feel similar things so you aren't alone.

There's so many threads / conversations on here really makes me realize I'm not alone which is so comforting.

That's okay, I only learned that term myself not long ago and saw it on here in a few places.

I am hoping that learning more about PTSD will help me deal with it better. I'm amazed to see so many others on here and so many threads!
