I go with Jimmy and Anthony. And I have been told the same by therapists. I have also been told the last word has not been written about it.
But it is the intensity and frequency. It's why I don't go along with this eye movement therapy. It may work for one incident but many of us have had multiple incidents even simultaneously. And you just can't talk to a civilian about it. You never tell it the way it happened. You dance around what happened.
I have been a member of other ptsd groups that were "co-mingled." I got even more nervous talking about it.And now if I sense someone's not been under the martial way of life that the military is, I get nervous again. I still have that fear of anger because I know the natural extension of it.
