I found a thread from a google search and am really glad I found this community. I'm in therapy for PTSD right now. I look forward to learning about you and sharing my story. Nobody that hasn't experienced this understands it.

Thank you. Therapy is helping, but I find the fellowship online more helpful with validation than anything. My PTSD has been a result of childhood trauma/abuse and abuse in relationships in adulthood. I didn't realize why I seemed to draw in abusive people or why I was such an easy target and I get it now; it's learning to set boundaries and taking a stand that I'm trying to get down - to not be fueled by fear.

Like you, I found this site from my Internet search for ways to deal with bullying. Being here has helped me with so much more. And I agree, the fellowship of other sufferers is invaluable.

I struggle equally as much with the lack of understanding on others' part as I do the PTSD itself!
