Supporter Hello, Total Noob-ptsd Sufferer And Supporter

I was molested and raped at nine by one of my mother's men. I was diagnosed with PTSD at 16 and have gone through a lot of therapy and a lot of healing. Now I am married to the love of my life who is a combat vet. Three tours, 100% disabled, but the VA can't figure out that trigger therapy and risperidone doesn't work. I'm at a place in my life where I don't have people to talk to about our life, and am really just looking for people that understand and can help me understand. Especially where he's coming from. The VA doesn't help at all. I've already seen some greatness on this site and I'm excited to see more of what there is to offer.

Hi Staci! I'm a Veteran and have had many problems with the VA. I can definitely relate to your husband. Dealing with the VA can be extremely frustrating. Hope you're having a great day!

Thanks for the welcome you guys. And I will definitely check out the supporters section. I posted my story in PTSD Relationships... Thinking that might have been the wrong one now but I was so eager to get my story out there while I had the courage to do it. I haven't used a forum before, and it seems I have a bit to learn.
