Peace to the 48 killed today, two years ago. You are missed.

It was hard seeing emails today, especially when they urged action (politically mostly), although the bravery of the mothers, fathers, and other surviving family deserve to be heard and to know that their children and loved ones are honored. The bravery they have is amazing

I was just looking for a place to say what’s bothering me. It’s this time of year again, and at the same time, the Trump administration in the US today revoked LGBTQ+ protections. It has been rough dealing with that. I can’t even bring myself to be angry. Just sad that this is still a problem.

The Human Rights Campaign has filed a lawsuit for it. I’m hoping that works. The Trump Admin didn’t have to do it today, though.

My state government signed a bill preventing Jewish people or gay people from adopting children recently as well. JKR decided to write an entire essay on why trans people suck.

And I’m thinking about Pulse and all the death and hatred going around all the time. I feel overwhelmed and I wish I didn’t. I wish I could just go out and do things to stop it.
