How Did You Bring In The New Year?

@Panda Bear Hope you and your Mr. are feeling better.

Having worked retail, I have seen a shocking number of people who keep their little ones up way later than they aught to. Then actually wonder why the 4 year old in the cart is unhappy at 11pm. (I know some people have to do this sometimes for legitimate reasons. The ones I'm talking about, make it obvious that they are just careless parents.)

The fireworks, yeah. I have a couple of neighbor kids who like to play with those at the most inopportune times. Those are illegal here, but all that accomplishes is to make the little buggers better at sneak attacking. I hate those things.

@SheilaKathy I'll have to look into that movie.

Chocolate chip pizza? I've no doubt it's good, still. Sounds weird to me. Lol.

Glad you had fun.

@gizmo Definitely seeing a trend of unconsciousness equating to enjoyment of the whole new year thing. With the exception of the fireworks and chocolate pizza.

Good riddance 2015 indeed.

@Saelben: It's a cooperative table top game. There's a fantasy world and each player plays one of the four heroes. The game has cards with missions you have to fulfill. You have to plan and cooperate on each step. You play together against the game - there are also some missions you can take on alone. ;)

That is amazing, I really like table tops, but unfortunatelly there are not many players and even less time recently for me to play. :) Would be interesting if we all met up over skype or something and played a few :P

Might be a bit complicated via skype - but not impossible. ;) Cleo and I play most of the time. ...do you have something like a gamer's meeting around your place? We have something like that at the end of February and wanna give it a try. :)

Gaming Andor via Skype might take a lot of coordination - because you have to see the whole table top - but not impossible.

We have a thing that is a few days a couple times a year, but the country is too small, like, a total of 30 LARPers here, of that, very little to none here, leave me with no options. Same goes for tabletops, nobody has time with studying, and organising is hard.

I don't know if this will be helpful, but have ether @Anrish or @Saelben heard of Twitch.tv ?

(Hopefully I am not breaking any rules talking about this, as I have no monetary stake in this service. It's just something I enjoy.)

If you haven't. Twitch is a streaming site which focuses on gaming. Usually video games, but there are quite a few people who stream tabletop content, such as Magic the gathering. One streamer I watch regularly, has a home studio setup, from which he broadcasts live pinball.

The reason I brought it up is. Since this sort of live tabletop content requires a bit of work to setup a good camera angle. You might find it helpful to see how other people have setup their cameras to capture the playfield. It's also entirely possible someone is broadcasting Andor.

Oh, and it's free to view. Some ads, but most times not intrusive. Actually this website is what I watch instead of television. Silly as it sounds.

Ha, if someone had told me a few years ago, that I would enjoy watching someone else play video games more than television, I'd have laughed at them. But the fact is I do.

Hope you two can figure out a way to make it work. Not much for table top games personally, but I know all of us here need as enjoyment in life as we can get.

Yea, I know twitch, unfortunatelly no speakers currently. There are things online like roll20 though, could work for that?
