How Did You Sleep Last Night?

No sleep until four or five in the morning. And in pain all day now. What the crap is this about. :(

Taven, I was awake until 4:30 AM last night, and have been physically uncomfortable all day as well. I can well relate. I hope you sleep better tonight. :) As for me, I just took a xanax, so that might help.

The nightmares are subsiding but the physical pain is on the increase. I'm unsure which is worse:confused:.

Well, I went to bed at 1- then I had a dream that my prof snapped at me and called me lazy; it shocked me and woke me up, and her voice sounded so harsh- it's never been harsh before. :cry: It was so scary. I just don't know why I had that dream, it was frightening. I got four hours of sleep, but not a very good sleep.

I slept for about 3hrs with sleep meds but woke up with nausea and searing pain in my eye and side of my head ...again :cry: I went back to sleep only to wake up an hour later and force myself out of bed to grab the ice pack, then wake up every hour or so from the pain to adjust the pack. :(

The only good thing is during the first part of these I am able to sleep more due to some chemical change in my brain. Better to sleep off the pain.

Had a pretty good alcohol induced dream free few hours! I have woken with some physical pain which I know is a memory of my trauma though - guess the emotion has to come out somewhere :|

I slept great but I had a dream all jumbled around, I do not remember it. I woke up with anxiety, but am feeling better now. Whew:)

Weird dreams but no nightmares, so all in all, not so bad. I woke up a couple of times but I was able to go back to sleep quickly. For ME.. it was a good night.

Tonight is back to work for me, 2 back to back graveyard shifts and then 3 nights off. :)

I'm kind of dreading going to bed tonight. I've had a really long day and I am tired, but I just don't want another night full of one nightmare after another. :(

So sorry for your stress, Jen. School is a dream-theme of mine. Bleah. I wonder what metaphor your prof is portraying? :O_o: Sometimes if I can identify the metaphor, the dream won't repeat. Not always, but it works sometimes.

I dreamed I went to this house, and I ended up trading them for their house, mine for theirs, except then it turned into my parents moving in instead, and then my dad and mum yelling at me for being so fat, and no matter how much I showed them I was trying to lose weight, they kept hammering me, telling me I was useless and fat and a liar.:mad::cry::notworthy::mad:

I woke up calm, but in my head I was still screaming and crying and throwing things in frustration because no one would listen to me.:mad:

Today is going to be a long day, but my brother is here, so at least I can cuddle up with the cats and go to sleep, he will wake me if anything starts happening. :):sleep:
