My sleep patterns have gone to crap since I've been on vacation. More time at home means I am triggered more, and that means being too scared to take my sleep meds (because I am afraid I won't wake up at a noise). I got a smaller dose from the pdoc to try to manage the fear, and I took it last night and was able to wake at a reasonable hour. I'm going to do the old trick of setting my clock back five minutes earlier to wake up each day to get back on schedule.
