How Did You Sleep Last Night?

Apparently according to my husband I slept for 20 hours yesterday, he became a little stern with me or disgruntle, however you want to view it. He came in my room to wake me up several times and I just could not get up. Finally I got up, he tried to get me to eat, which I am not doing since starting effexor. We argued about my eating. I went to lay back down again and he came in my room being more stern with me this time, so I just jumped out of bed, got dressed and said "Take me to the store I want a Monster."

Now here is the funny part.... We stopped at my mailbox on the way to the store and inside was a card with no postmark on it, and no return address, it was a valentine card from my MIL and is contained money in it with a note to buy monster drinks! LOL.

So off went to get my monster drinks.

He would not let me drink one until I ate something, and he had TRIED to cook, mind you the operative word here is TRIED. It was not the best, but I did eat a little bit, enough to satisfy him, and I was granted my Monster drink!

Now, being I slept for the 20 hours, I am wide awake tonight. I am considering requesting a sleep study. I do not sleep like a normal person. If I have no one to wake me up, and it takes quite a lot for someone to get me up I sleep between 14 and 20 hours at a time. I have looked into this and there is actually a sleep disorder called Hypersomnia. It can be a result of depression which naturally is part of my PTSD and it can be a result of PTSD. Instead of the not sleeping, you sleep too much.

I hope everyone else had a better nights rest than I did!
