How Did You Sleep Last Night?

I slept for 3 and a half hours. I had to get up at 4am this morning. I decided to lay down and take a nap. And when I did I ended up having a nightmare that woke me up. Because the fun of having nightmares should be had during the day during naps too :shifty:.
 
Awful, I was waking up almost every night at 3-5 am last few months but its been alot better lately. Last night though I was back up in the middle of the morning; its so lonely when this happens, Ive spent too many nights like that, pacing in the dark & crying too sometimes. At least I'm not drinking myself to asleep anymore though I guess
 
I've been so tired lately that I'm actually truly exhausted. Sometimes I only get like 5 hours of sleep because I was up too late trying to avoid nightmares. But lately I've been so tired I've been really wanting and needing a good 8 hours of sleep. I've been taking care of someone's dog so I've been having to get up early everyday to walk it early in the morning.

And lately I've been over sleeping a little more everyday. The first day it was like 20 minutes. The next day it was like 45 minutes. Yesterday it was an hour and a half. And today it was 2 hours. I'm so exhausted my body feels heavy and almost weak.

I'm back to avoiding sleep. I'm staying up until 3am and 4am again. I've been doing it all week.

I have chronic pain. And sometimes I dream I'm in pain and then I wake up in the pain I was dreaming I was having. And last night I had a dream that I was in pain and I went to the doctor and talked to the nurse pleading with her to help me and there was nothing she could do to help me. And then I had nightmares about huge waves trying to wash me out into the ocean and drown me. So I'm sitting here at 2am now and I KNOW I should go to sleep. But sleep? I keep thinking about the nightmares. I don't want to have any.
