As for if there is anywhere I can go without wheelchairs the answer is unfortunately no. I'm not even kidding that where I live wheelchairs are EVERYWHERE. They're at the grocery store, at my local restaurants, at church, at shopping centers, at movie theaters, and more! There is no place that I can go outside of my house that I know of where I will not be around some. (and I don't mean that in a paranoid way ;))
Wow! I figured there would be obvious ones like the grocery store, as I know we have at least one at the grocery store where I work. I guess the ADA (Americans with Disabilities) really has made disabilities, at least physical ones, No offense intended here... available. I guess too being a big city born transplanted to a smaller town makes me a little oblivious to what occurs in the larger metropolitan areas of the world.
That's kinda why I was questioning the possibility. Now, I have a clearer understanding though and thank you for the clarification on this,
