I'd like to add something important.

Allowing thoughts to raise means watching them, analyzing them and get acquainted with them. Doing so, you allow them to fall back the same way they raised, naturally.

It does not mean doing anything; it all happens inside. Just observing. Once you get used to that particular thought it won't have any power over you and cannot rob you energy which is what all is about.
