How's Your Day Been? Each Day is Different, So Make Your Mark Daily

Had my last OT appointment today. I have been having therapy on my shoulder for the last 6 weeks so was ready for them to end.

My shoulder is doing better and if I have any problems, I can go back to see him at no charge. Just ready for some time off from having those appointments.

My day has been 10 swimming laps, 4 walking laps, feeding the animals, some weeding and pruning, struggling with my people pleasing activities, carving some time out from my care taking duties and thinking about my assignment and essays.

My day has been calm and relaxing so far. I am trying to take baby steps and doing one thing at a time and so far that is working because I feel pretty good.

It started with stress and ended with stress. First my son realized we didn't have the books he needed for his first day of class. Then I had a prescription that cost $232, normally $95. Spent two hours on the phone with the insurance company working it out. Then my dogs took off in the dark for an adventure and we didn't know where they were for over a half hour. I'm ready for this day to end. Plus an acquaintance of ours, through family, is losing his life through a brain bleed, so I think I'm guilty of worrying about little things. Today is just not a good day.

Sending healing hugs to you Britt. I am sorry for your loss.

I am tired and overwhelmed but managing without stress and worry.

Somehow I know that it will all work out and we will all be ok.

My day has been throughtful and mindful. It has been about dealing with Papa Bear as well, he is at day respite for the rest of the day now, which is good.

We can have a break, well I can get some work done.

Today I picked up my son from school and then I went and tried on glasses. It cost more then getting them by internet but I think it was worth it. I think I was worth it.

:) I am sure it was good for your son to see you taking care of yourself and buying new glasses as well. You are worth it and I am sure your little boy thinks so too.

My day has been a struggle to focus and keep out of fantasyland.

Today is a day where I am struggling to think that all of my disclosure and losses due to that was not worth it in the end. Being a whistle-blower sucks.

@MomOfTwo Thank you for your support. I think my son, 16, appreciated that I was getting glasses. As long as he didn't come with. lol.
