Thanks once again, anthony and all for the welcomes. Yes we are very lucky, family like ours is becoming harder to come by all the time. It's easy to take for granted, until you read about others experiences on a forum like this, or witness family violence as often as I do in my job as an MP. Then I am reminded of my good fortune. Evie I wouldn't say has been quite so fortunate, considering what my uncle did to her, but she has us now, whether she wants us or not, and we are certainly going to try to make up for everything that's happened to her.
Veiled I do hope Evie and Greg continue their friendship, although he had better not offer her a reefer again. He's bloody fortunate it was me there and not my father, as he might be in hospital now in that case.
