Humphrey V The World

While Humphrey is stuck guarding porridge temperatures, I will be creating a passport for Humphrey.

My idea so far is:

To have his picture and name on the inside front cover. The inside sheets will have the name of each Country and spaces to fill in the addresses and dates that Humphrey was there.

(I've never seen an actual Passport so I'm guessing here...) If anyone has any ideas of what else to add, please say so!

Umm, a list of what Countries he will be visiting would be nice too!

Well Humphrey is here in Newfoundland with me... perhaps I should send him along afterall as I don't feel like taking pictures right now. I don't want to hold him up, people are obviously anxious to see him!

Perhaps you should just take some pictures Evie. Preferable to feeling guilty about it ad nauseum. Might do you some good.

And yeah I think Humphrey feels bad that he didn't get to go hitchhiking with me, so maybe I owe him a couple of trips.

When the porridge is at the right temperature Evie, and im sure you will know when that is. Set the boy free to let him wonder and start his second part of his journey. You have been his keeper and only you know when you and he will be ready to proceed. You know our rules number 1 rule starts with F and with em totally up to you.

Humphrey is on the move!

Humphrey had a nice 2 month holiday in Newfoundland. He went to Tim Horton's, he played with our goats and geese, was loved very much by the cats Chairman Meow, Mr. Peabody and Fat Bastard, he went lobster fishing and moose hunting, then helped make the moose sausage. He tried figgy duff (a bun with raisins) and liked it, tried cod tongue and cheek soup and was undecided about the taste, tried flipper pie (pie made with seal flippers) and almost threw up, then kissed the cod (drank screech in a pub and then kissed a codfish on the lips).

He was very supportive and helpful through Brian's funeral and wake. He's visited Brian's grave several times. He went to the hospital with me too while I was ill. It was really great having him here. Humphrey decided he didn't want any pictures of himself in Newfoundland made public on the forum. Our family is still grieving over Brian's death, and he figured that was a private matter. He was very helpful through it all however.

Last week Humphrey left Newfoundland and traveled back to Saskatchewan with my cousin Scott and his partner. Scott and Nick are packing up the last of Brian's things left in storage there, and Humphrey being the very generous bear that he is, wanted to help. He was also less shy about having his picture taken in Saskatchewan than he was in Newfoundland. Scott and Nick took several pictures of him there, he's very photogenic! I will post the pictures here soon, I'm just waiting for them to be emailed to me.

Humphrey is now ready to leave Saskatchewan and go to his next destination. However, he's not sure where he's going. Does Bec want him in Thunder Bay, or is he going elsewhere? Someone please let him know as he's very anxious! :)

Maybe humphrey also needs a small tag attached to him from every place he visits? Just something that can be shown where in the world his travels have been???

Believe he has a Visa that Rob and Jodee made, least I recall seeing it. Sort of like a passport that one stamps. Evie made something else for him as well that includes something of Newfoundland and also Saskatchewan.
