I ran my first marathon this past Sunday. I was trying to prepare myself for all the muscle soreness afterward and guess what! I trained right and I'm not sore at all! I am really proud of myself that I kept fighting through to the very end. Everyone kept saying that I had a smile on my face the whole time. I didn't really get into my head until the last 2/10ths of a mile. Now I just wish I could fight my anxiety the same way! If only it were that easy! I had such a great time I might actually run another marathon!

Congratulations @Katiesue . That's such a huge accomplishment! It reminds me of when I tested for my second degree black belt back in May. I was all nervous about it, but it turned out I was well prepared and did just fine. It feels so good to set your mind to something and then accomplish it. I haven't found out how to carry that over to fighting PTSD symptoms, at least not consistently, but it's a start.
