I am writing this to send light and love to anyone out there that is suffering so bad and in so much pain and struggling to see the light.

Thank you for this! We all have times that we forget that there IS light and love! When we are deep in our pain or caught up in old habits of dealing with our hurt, it helps to be reminded of the light and love of people, especially the ones here on the Forum.

Since we are all in different stages of "healing and dealing" I think it helps for those of us who have been at it for a lot more time, to reach out and encourage others who may not have come as far or who are just beginning their journey, and sure them that with perseverance they CAN get better.

Yes, it was a very hurtful comment, one that took me awhile to process. It is victim-blaming and that is why I reacted badly to the subject of karma. I believe in karma just not as a reason for every bad thing that happens to us.

By the way, thank you so much for this thread. What you said earlier in your opening statement was very sweet, kind, and compassionate. I wish you lots of love and light as well!!!

I don’t think you understand karma. It can carry over from life to life. That’s why I said I was evil in a past life. And that’s why I was abused. It’s just a belief, like any other belief. Take it or leave it, but don’t judge it without understanding it.

If karma exists, it would explain PERFECTLY why innocent children are abused. Past lives, future lives.

I totally agree. Some things unfortunately happen to such good people. To make sense of it all is honestly very hard for us all. And a belief in karma or God and the excuses for why good or bad things happen to us, is still a mystery to us curious and beautiful human beings. Who knows for sure. But the capabilities we have to enjoy life despite the hardships we face, ARE AMAZING! <3

I love your response. It is important to face our pain so we can acknowledge how deeply we were hurt, but we don't want to remain stuck there. Another thought though is some see us stuck there when in actuality we've been through more shit than they realise or are willing to acknowledge so it's no shame to us to be facing our hurts longer than another's. No comparisons.
But always remember, there are still good people out there that care and some of those people have been there and trough trauma and found their way to the other side and want to help others. And even if someone hasn't been through as much trauma as us, doesn't mean they don't care or aren't truly a loving person. Sometimes we assume by what we see on the outside but haven't seen who they are inside. Lot's of ppl have masks on
